Beth Beans Gilbert - Vice President, Fred Beans Automotive Group
Elizabeth (Beth) Beans Gilbert is a longtime Doylestown resident who is an alumna of Central Bucks East High School. She attended Hood College, then the NADA Academy, and worked in dealerships in Florida and Virginia before returning home to raise her children and contribute to the family business started by her father, Fred Beans.
Today, she is Vice President of Fred Beans Automotive Group, helping manage a dynamic company that employs 2000+ individuals across dealerships and other automotive operations in Southeastern Pennsylvania and extending into Cumberland County and Central New Jersey.
Among Beth’s priorities are to position Fred Beans as an employer of first choice. She has advocated for more women to join her in automotive, introducing new benefits to make Fred Beans attractive to diverse candidates. She also focuses on growing the company’s contributions as a corporate citizen. She oversees the Fred Beans Charitable Trust, which has funded significant projects, including for the YMCA of Bucks County and Doylestown Hospital, and annually supports area organizations whose work falls within the categories of youth and education, human services, arts and culture, and community development. Beth is personally committed to supporting the community that has given her and her family so much
Debbie Schaeffer- CEO, Mrs. G Appliances
Debbie Schaeffer is the third generation owner of Mrs. G Appliances located in Lawrence Twp, NJ celebrating 88 years in business. Mrs. G is a WEBNC certified women owned business -3 generations of women owners. Mrs. G’s state of the art showroom focuses on creating an exceptional customer experience before, during and after the sale. Mrs. G proudly displays over 55 brands of home appliances including Sharp. As a member of one of the largest buying groups in the country, NECO Alliance & Nationwide Buying Group, with over 500 independent members with billions of dollars in buying power, Mrs. G, an independent community based retailer, competes successful against all other national and regional chains.
Debbie uses the same philosophy of her grandparents, taking care of the customer, having a great selection of brands in the showroom and keeping the long tradition of supporting the community and local charities. She plans on keeping Mrs. G as a foremost appliance dealer in NJ for a long while to come.
Debbie is a passionate crusader for local independent business. Community-serving businesses are the backbone of our local economy, civic life and local charities.
