We specialize in defensive driving, teaching students to "expect the unexpected" and providing them with the skills to be safe, aware, and responsible drivers for life. We are also proud to coach and train students facing unique challenges, including those with ADD/ADHD, nervousness, anxiety and autism.

What You'll Do:

• Provide behind-the-wheel instruction in any one of our three Hybrid driving school cars equipped with a passenger side brake, to students of all ages, focusing on our proven defensive driving techniques and consistent verbiage.
• Coach students to develop critical thinking skills on the road, anticipating hazards and reacting safely.
• Adapt coaching methods to support students with diverse learning styles and challenges, including those with ADD/ADHD, nervousness, anxiety, and autism.
• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and patient learning environment for all students.
• Uphold the high standards of safety and professionalism that our 5-star reputation is built upon.
• Help students gain the confidence and skills needed to pass their Pennsylvania driving test.

Your Path to Becoming a PA-Licensed Driving Coach (and How We Support You):

Becoming a certified driving coach in Pennsylvania is a thorough process designed to ensure the highest standards of safety and instruction. It requires dedication, but we're here to guide you every step of the way.

Here's what the process generally involves (estimated 2-3 months from start to finish):

• State Application Submission: We'll help you navigate the initial state application process, which includes background checks and accurate documentation.
• Comprehensive Training Program: You'll undergo extensive training covering all aspects of safe, aware, and defensive driving. This includes a significant amount of behind-the-wheel observation with our experienced coaches, where you'll learn our specific techniques and consistent verbiage firsthand, including our specialized approaches for students with challenges.
• State Exam Preparation: We'll prepare you thoroughly for the 76-question Pennsylvania state test, ensuring you have the knowledge and confidence to pass.
• State Licensing: Upon successful completion of the training and passing the state exam, you'll receive your official PA Driving Instructor License.

Your Investment & Our Commitment:

We understand that this training requires a significant time commitment. That's why Safe Driving Coach LLC, Driving School proudly covers all the cost of all state-mandated training. Once you successfully pass the Pennsylvania state test and become a licensed driving coach, you will receive a lump-sum payment for your training time.
