Job Title: Fiscal Administrator
Eagle Staffing Company invites applications for a Fiscal Administrator position with our client located in Montgomery County (Wynnewood). This facility ?is a creative day service program with a focus on arts and arts-based skill-building, education, in-house-generated vocational opportunities, and community involvement for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This full-time assignment offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm with a competitive hourly compensation between $22 to $24 depending on experience. While this role begins as a temporary assignment, it has the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Job Duties Description:
Banking:
- Process and submit electronic check requests, accounts payable and receivable.
- Oversee and direct remote banking reconciliations, if applicable.
- Assist in distributing and managing site funds.
- Coordinate management of credit cards, monitor for unusual transactions, and facilitate comprehensive monthly reconciliation.
- Report any missing or unaccounted activities to the divisional fiscal group.
- Participate in fiscal and compliance audits, ensuring timely payment to vendors to maintain good-standing relationships.
- Handle creation and maintenance of financial tracking systems; conduct monthly General Ledger review and submit necessary adjustments.
- Provide initial reconciliation of cash advances and custodial, taking further directives from Accounts Payable department.
- Oversee rent payments and contracts for specific programming sites.
- Submit appropriate documentation to custodial department regarding new admissions, moves, deaths, and others. Follow up as necessary.
- Effectively maintain paperwork related to participants, employees, or the program.
- Complete, review, and forward all required new-hire paperwork to designated corporate representative.
- Assist with human resource functions, such as benefits enrollment, submission of term and change forms, and consistency tracking.
- Maintain and monitor all staff training requirements.
- Manage AP and AR relevant to art sales.
- Oversee relevant grant finances and documentation.
- Supervise the billing operations of specific programs.
- Accountable for tracking unit property and fixed assets.
- Bachelor's Degree with a major in Business Administration, Accounting, or other relevant field, or an Associate's Degree with two years of pertinent experience, or a High School Diploma with 4 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting practices, policies, and procedures, in addition to purchasing and billing functions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Applications with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- At least two years of experience in the field of accounting, bookkeeping, and office management.
- Exceptional ability to manage Excel databases.
